Ndlovu Safari Lodge is located within Welgevonden Game Reserve, a 38,000-hectare Big 5 wilderness in the heart of the Waterberg. The reserve's safety and wellbeing are looked after by Welgevonden Reaction NPC, who lead anti-poaching and security efforts across the land, while Welgevonden's dedicated Biomonitoring team keeps a close, caring eye on the wildlife that calls this place home through its ongoing Biomonitoring Programme.
A conservation levy is applied to each stay, helping maintain these efforts and supporting the protection of the reserve. Your visit contributes directly to keeping this remarkable wilderness preserved for the future.

At Ndlovu Safari Lodge, 100% of our staff are drawn from the surrounding local community, creating real employment and economic opportunity close to home. We source 90% of our curios from local artisans, sourcing the remainder where local options aren't available.
Waste
Waste
At Ndlovu Safari Lodge, we grow some of our own fresh produce in the garden, using compost from the kitchen to nourish the soil. We reduce plastic use by providing guests with steel water bottles to refill at our water stations, helping us serve fresher meals while keeping our impact on the land low.

At Ndlovu Safari Lodge, we love refurbishing and upcycling old furniture. By giving pieces a fresh look and purpose, we create stylish, functional décor that’s sustainable and adds character to every corner of the lodge.
